On 15 November 2024, the kick-off meeting of the KommMa project took place. Starting at 9:30 a.m., all project participants met on the South Campus of the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. In addition to the four KIT institutes (IMKTRO, ITAS, IfV and IIP), the mentors and the advisory board with many different partners from practice were also present.

The second Foundation Day took place at KIT on 24 October. On the premises of the Triangel on Kronenplatz, there was the opportunity to exchange ideas with representatives of numerous foundations.

Our project was officially launched on 1 July. We are delighted that, after several years of preparatory work, we can now take the next step towards scientifically sound support for the implementation of municipal climate protection measures.
